Der skandinavische Private-Equity-Investor Norvestor steigt beim Inkasso-Startup Debtist ein und \u00fcbernimmt die Mehrheit der Firma, wie Finance Forward vorab erfahren hat. Aus Finanzkreisen hei\u00dft es, die Firmenbewertung liege bei mehr als 100 Millionen Euro. Offiziell schweigt das Start-up zu der Bewertung. Die Gr\u00fcnder Matteo Benedetti, Tony Zabel und Brandon Baumgarten bleiben operativ an Bord.<\/p>\n

Debtist wurde 2023 gegr\u00fcndet und hat seinen Hauptsitz in Frankfurt am Main. Das Unternehmen betreibt eine eigenentwickelte, KI-basierte Plattform f\u00fcr Forderungsmanagement und Inkasso, die die gesamte Wertsch\u00f6pfungskette abdeckt \u2013 vom vorgerichtlichen Mahnwesen bis zur langfristigen Forderungs\u00fcberwachung. Zu den Firmenkunden geh\u00f6ren etwa die Unternehmen Copecart oder DeepL. Aktiv ist das Start-up derzeit in Deutschland, den nordischen L\u00e4ndern und im Vereinigten K\u00f6nigreich.<\/p>\n

St\u00e4rkere Expansion geplant<\/h2>\n

Aktuell besch\u00e4ftigt Debtist rund 50 Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter und erreicht einen annualisierten Umsatz von 15 Millionen Euro. Im Oktober 2023 hatte das Startup eine Pre-Seed-Runde abgeschlossen. Beteiligt waren die Fonds \u0101ltitude und 10x Value Partners sowie mehrere Business Angels.<\/p>\n

Mit dem strategischen Investor will das Finanz-Start-up nun die europ\u00e4ische Expansion st\u00e4rker vorantreiben.
