Er durchlief Stationen bei Borussia Dortmund und Bayern M\u00fcnchen, ehe er nach einem zwischenzeitlichen Wechsel zur PSV Eindhoven 2022 in die Bundesliga zu Eintracht Frankfurt zur\u00fcckkehrte. Neben seiner Spielerkarriere engagiert er sich auch als Botschafter f\u00fcr verschiedene soziale Projekte.
