Elf Jahre lang war Jens Quadbeck bei Google, dort hat er unter anderem den Bereich Financial Services geleitet. Nach einer kurzen Zwischenstation beim\u00a0 Kreditkarten-Startup Pliant ist er nun Teil der Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrung von Finmatics. Das Startup aus Wien baut eine Software f\u00fcr die Automatisierung von Buchhaltungsprozessen, die sich an Steuerberater und Wirtschaftspr\u00fcfer richtet. Eigenen Angaben zufolge nutzen 900 Steuerberatungskanzleien das Produkt.<\/p>\n

In einer schwierigen Funding-Phase verk\u00fcndet Finmatics nun eine Runde \u00fcber sechs Millionen Euro, Mangrove Capital Partners ist neu eingestiegen. Das Unternehmen mit mehr als 100 Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeitern will nun 20 weitere in Berlin einstellen, wo es seinen zweiten Standort hat. Die frischen Mittel sollen zudem \u201evor allem f\u00fcr das weitere Wachstum in Deutschland und die Produktentwicklung\u201c verwendet werden.<\/p>\n

Im kommenden Jahr wollen die beiden Gr\u00fcnder Christoph Prieler und Patrick Sagmeister dann in weitere europ\u00e4ische L\u00e4nder expandieren.
